Melting Plastics
Similar to burning, melting plastic comes from plastic dust getting trapped between the blade and the material. Luckily most vinyl and fiberglass are thin so they clear the dust, cut quickly and have a tolerance to heat.
But some plastics, like Plexiglas require more than simple dust clearance techniques.
