********************************
Generally weather restrictions have no meaning for indoor adhesives, but in the case of a floor area in new construction and often renovation, the floor could be either overheated by the sun, or freezing cold. Also flooring materials might have been stored in a cold shed or garage. Remember that the adhesive, the flooring material as well as the floor itself must be between 18C and 30C before, during and for several days after installation. Although we always need to work in a well ventilated room, we may need to arrange for sun shading of that open window without blocking the air movement -- or temporary heating and exhaust ventilation if it is cold outside. Click here for a few details on installing vinyl flooring. And here for laying carpet over concrete.
