Hiding Surface Wires

When we string new wires through the house, telephone, cable, speakers and the like, it would be nice to be able to hide them. One trick is to remove the quarter round trim from the floorboards and if there is a space behind the rug or under the floor board, the wire can go into that space and the quarter round put back on. If there is no space, the back of the quarter round can be planed down enough to make a space for a small wire. Just be careful not to put the nails through the wires.

If the wires have to run out in the open, you can get different products that will collect and cover the wires to keep it all neater looking.
