Whenever I want to judge a tool or an appliance, I always seek out the repairmen. They are the ones who know if something lasts or doesn't and what are the weak components or what people do wrong to kill them.

Have you ever wondered what an appliance repairman does when he isn't repairing appliances. Well if his name is John MacKenzie, he is writing a book about how to keep your appliances alive. In the first version of his book, John had a lot of Murphy's laws and it was almost discouraging. So I bugged him about it and now he came up with MacKenzie's laws. You will love them. But you will also learn all about how to keep just about all your household appliances working much better and far longer. I even discovered that you can get dishwasher rack touch up to prevent those rusty wires from showing. John says to apply it in several thin coats for best results.
